Designer and style maven Alexia von Beck had been creating beautiful, loose and fluid clothing for quite a while when Danièle Massie met her at her boutique at Yonge and Summerhill. In 2000, Ddesign developed a business card that reflected the elegant and understated nature of her creations with the use of a tone-on-tone palette, a die-line to convey stitching, markings to refer to sewing patterns, and a die-cut rounding some of the corners for a more fluid feel. Every couple of years or so, when Alexia is ready for another print run, we look at different luxurious papers and laminations.
