Tenzo was created as an environment dedicated to cooking, learning in community and exploring collective creativity. Owner Betty Holmes wanted to project an elegant yet warm image that was characteristic of her business as a whole. Danièle Massie created a watercolour graphic reminiscent of the beautiful site on which the centre is located, and in support of the tagline, “Cooking & Community on the Pedernales.” Ddesign also developed a calligraphic logo to evoke its eastern philosophic roots.
